The first ‘walk on Wednesday’ went ahead today despite all the rain. The children of Scoil Mhuire natonal school, Moycullen really embraced this intiative and nearly every pupil walked from home or designated meeting points around the village to school. Scoil Mhuire WOW day – Walk on Wednesday
Scoil Mhuire will launch their first WOW day – Walk on Wednesday – on Wednesday 24th April. Each Wednesday morning children from the surrounding areas will join each other at various designated meeting points around the village and walk to school. As you travel on Wednesday mornings please be vigilant towards the children as they travel towards the school.
Neighbourhood Watch – Community Alert meeting
Open meeting for everyone in the community to discuss any issues relating to the safety of our local area. Local garda to attend. Everyone welcome. Immprove community safety – develop Garda and community links – observe and report susicious activities – prevent crime – reduce anti-social behavior – provide a caring environment for elderly and vulnerable neighbours. Wednesday 10th April 8pm in the Forge
